Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 26/06/2026

These Terms and Conditions explain how we provide our services, how quotes and bookings work, and what you can expect when using this website or arranging work with us.

By contacting us, requesting a quote, booking work, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by an independent UK tradesperson / trade business.

You can contact us at:

Email: amirsamouie@gmail.com
Phone: 07776 274666

2. Our services

We provide trade and home improvement services to residential and/or commercial customers.

The exact work to be carried out will be agreed with you before work begins. This may be confirmed by message, email, written quote, invoice, or another agreed form of communication.

3. Quotes and estimates

Any quote or estimate we provide is based on the information available at the time.

A quote may change if:

  • The scope of work changes

  • Extra work is requested

  • Hidden issues are discovered

  • Materials or supplier costs change

  • Access to the property is different from what was described

  • Additional labour, tools, or materials are required

We will let you know about any significant changes before carrying out extra work wherever possible.

Unless stated otherwise, quotes are valid for [insert number] days.

4. Bookings and appointments

Appointments are arranged based on availability.

We will do our best to attend at the agreed time, but delays can happen due to traffic, supplier issues, emergencies, weather, previous jobs overrunning, or circumstances outside our control.

If we need to rearrange an appointment, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

5. Deposits and upfront payments

For some jobs, we may ask for a deposit or upfront payment before work begins. This may be used to secure the booking, purchase materials, or cover preparation work.

Deposits may be non-refundable where costs have already been incurred, materials have been ordered, or time has been reserved for your job.

Any deposit terms will be explained before payment is taken.

6. Materials and customer-supplied items

Where we supply materials, we will aim to use suitable materials for the agreed work.

If you ask us to use materials, parts, fittings, or products that you have supplied, we are not responsible for faults, defects, delays, compatibility issues, missing parts, or failure of those items unless caused by our workmanship.

If additional parts or materials are needed, these may be charged separately.

7. Access and preparation

You must provide safe and reasonable access to the property or work area at the agreed time.

Before we arrive, please make sure that:

  • The work area is accessible

  • Personal items are moved where needed

  • Pets and children are kept safely away from the work area

  • Parking, keys, permissions, or access arrangements are available

  • Any known hazards or relevant information are disclosed

If we cannot carry out the work because access is not available or the area is not prepared, a call-out charge or cancellation fee may apply.

8. Changes to the work

If you request changes after work has been agreed or started, this may affect the price, timescale, materials, and completion date.

Any additional work may be quoted and charged separately.

9. Cancellations

If you need to cancel or rearrange a booking, please give as much notice as possible.

A cancellation fee may apply if:

  • Short notice is given

  • Materials have already been purchased

  • Specialist items have been ordered

  • Time has been reserved and cannot reasonably be rebooked

  • Work has already started

Where consumer cancellation rights apply, these will not be affected.

If you ask us to start work during a cancellation period, you may be required to pay for work already completed, materials ordered, or costs reasonably incurred.

10. Payment

Payment terms will be stated on the quote, invoice, or agreed message.

Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due when the work is completed or when the invoice is issued.

We may accept payment by bank transfer, cash, card, or another agreed method.

Late payments may result in:

  • Additional charges

  • Interest where permitted by law

  • Suspension of further work

  • Recovery action for unpaid invoices

11. Completion of work

Work will be considered complete when the agreed services have been carried out, unless there are clear outstanding items that we have agreed to return and complete.

Minor snagging or adjustments do not usually entitle you to withhold full payment unless agreed otherwise.

Please raise any concerns as soon as possible so we can review and resolve them.

12. Workmanship and issues

We aim to complete all work with reasonable care and skill.

If you believe there is a problem with our workmanship, please contact us as soon as possible and give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect and put things right.

We are not responsible for issues caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Misuse, neglect, or accidental damage

  • Existing faults or hidden defects

  • Structural, electrical, plumbing, or other issues not caused by our work

  • Customer-supplied materials or products

  • Work carried out by someone else after our work is completed

13. Existing damage and hidden issues

Some issues may not be visible until work begins. This can include hidden damage, poor previous workmanship, unsafe installations, damp, rot, leaks, faulty wiring, structural defects, or other underlying problems.

If hidden issues are found, we will explain the situation and discuss any additional work or costs before continuing where possible.

14. Health and safety

We reserve the right to stop, pause, or refuse work if we believe conditions are unsafe.

This may include unsafe access, hazardous materials, aggressive behaviour, dangerous installations, or any situation that could put people, property, or equipment at risk.

15. Photos and portfolio use

We may take photos of work for records, quality checks, or evidence of completion.

We will not publish identifiable photos of your home, property, address, personal details, or private spaces for marketing or portfolio purposes without your permission.

16. Website content

The information on this website is provided for general information only.

We try to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all information, images, prices, availability, or service descriptions will always be complete or current.

Website images may show examples of previous work and may not represent every job or finish.

17. Liability

We are responsible for losses that are a direct result of our failure to carry out work with reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Losses caused by incorrect information provided by you

  • Delays outside our reasonable control

  • Pre-existing faults or hidden issues

  • Damage caused by others

  • Losses that could not reasonably have been expected

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

18. Your legal rights

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.

If you are a consumer, you may have rights under UK consumer protection law, including rights relating to services being carried out with reasonable care and skill.

19. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will review your complaint and try to resolve the issue fairly and reasonably.

20. Privacy

We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will be posted on this website with an updated “Last updated” date.

22. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
